Thomas J. Hauske, Jr.

Executive Chairman

Thomas J. Hauske, Jr. is the Executive Chairman of Marshall Street Capital and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Claridges Trust Company. He also currently serves as chairman of ESG Holdings’ pension and 401K investment committees. Previously, Hauske was chairman of the Board of Directors of Everett Smith Group. He also served as chairman of the Investment Committees of Everett Smith Group and ESG Investment Company. Hauske served on the Boards of each of the previous ESG platform companies.

Hauske’s responsibilities include working closely with the CEO and CFO in development of Marshall Street Capital’s investment policy, as well as selection and assessment of investment managers and advisors.  Hauske also is responsible for choosing and assessing key executives and Board members of the Marshall Street Capital and enhancing corporate governance.

Hauske’s career spans more than 30 years across several companies once owned by ESG, including roles in sales, finance, operations and executive management.

Hauske also has been involved in the commercial banking industry for more than 20 years as an investor and director of two community banks in Southeast Wisconsin. He is a member of the U.S. Bank–Wisconsin Advisory Board, as well as an investor in the insurance market, and has been a Lloyd’s of London U.S. Name for over 30 years.

Hauske is active in and supportive of the community, serving as a director of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, member of the Board of Regents of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, trustee of Rollins College, and director of Prevent Blindness Wisconsin.

He is a past chairman of BloodCenter of Wisconsin and a past chairman of the BloodCenter Research Foundation, where he served for 15 years. Hauske is currently a board member of Versiti, a strategic affiliation of successful healthcare organizations whose vision is to improve the health of patients through innovative transfusion solutions for healthcare systems.

Hauske received his undergraduate degree in business from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and attended the Kellogg Management Institute at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
