Bruce Betters is Vice Chairman of Marshall Street Capital and serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Claridges Trust Company.  Betters was previously the CEO and Chief Investment Officer for Marshall Street Capital from 2016 to 2023.  

In his current role as Vice Chairman, Betters provides support to Marshall Street Capital management in areas including investment, private trust company and family office matters.

Betters previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Marshall Street Capital from 2015-2016, and for Everett Smith Group from 2012-2015. He has been a leader at ESG and its subsidiaries since 2001, serving in a variety of roles, including vice president of corporate development, head of strategic planning and interim CEO at several of the operating companies in the family portfolio. From 1995-2001 Betters was the CFO of Trostel Ltd., which was owned by ESG. Additionally, Betters served on the Boards of each of the previous ESG platform companies.   

Prior to joining the Everett Smith Group, Betters spent 10 years with Price Waterhouse, rising to the position of senior manager. 

In addition to his involvement at Marshall Street Capital, Betters serves on the Advisory Board of another prominent US based family office.  Betters has also been involved in various community activities, including serving currently as a member of the Board of the Milwaukee Center for Independence and previously serving as a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Betters graduated with honors from Western Michigan University Haworth School of Business with degrees in accounting and general business. He is also a licensed certified public accountant (CPA).
